History

Golden Ark Lodge #595 was chartered in 1962, initally meeting at the Allen Park Masonic Temple.  Golden Ark moved into its on facility, the Taylor Masonic Center at 23263 Goddard Road in Taylor, in 1989.  Although it initially met in Allen Park, Golden Ark was chartered as lodge in Taylor, and has been active in the community from the start.

Boots and Coats

Golden Ark started its Boots and Coats Fund in 2006; each year since the need has grown and each year Golden Ark has stepped up to meet it. In 2016 Golden Ark donated 55 coats and 65 pairs of winter boots to Taylor Parks Elementary School. The Lodge has fundraisers throughout the year to raise money and The Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation provides matching funds. Support from local businesses like JC Penny's allow us to purchase new items at deeply discounted prices.
